We have to borrow a conductive metering from a process lab who make UPW.

We give them the reading then they advise.

However we use PPT now.

I suppose if the tank gets to zero parts per million you dump it? 'Cos that water would be filthy in comparison. I guess the nuclear resin takes it down far cleaner than zero parts per million too? God it must be cleaner than holy water?

I take it due to the responses no one in the right mind is going to own up to having a PPB system now.
Shame really as I would have liked to find out what they thought of it.

I have one and you change the nuclear resin once you have used 4 normal resin filters  so change it about twice a year cost about £165 a year.
Love the system whether you get better results with it still undecided,  what I would say as ionic used it as a good marketing tool to sell systems  and I know they have sold loads of them when quoting for new business we add the fact that we use parts per billion and as most have not got a clue what that means but it makes you different from the rest and we have got loads of new work from it
As  for the cost by the time you take off the vat, tax relief  the cost is very small especially as most on here are earning £200 a day or they wont get out of bed
We will be looking to add another system at the beginning of next  year and it will be a ppb

I'd guess that if after a year you're still undecided the difference is very slight at best.

If the additional cost is outweighed by gains in business then I guess it's a no-brainer for you. Interestingly though what's to stop me telling customers I'm ppb with my lowly ppm system?

if it works go for it
you will get good results from most systems as long as they are maintained
