Forgotten how old mine is now, just looked it up 6 1/2 years.
Still very happy, In that time replaced several vacuum motors, I
converted mine to Lamb Ametech motors before powrflite did.
I have replaced the pump head once, the old one is re-sealed and
sat on the shelf ready for when needed. The pump motor about a
year ago. I converted the pigtail leads to smaller neater powercon ones.
And I had the recovery tank split a seam just before the warranty ran out.
This was replaced very quickly and obviously free of charge in spite of having
to fly one over from America as they didn't stock them in the country.
It is a very good machine, it had minor design niggles when new, and mine was
one of the very early ones, which have been ironed out as time went by.
It does a lot less work than it used to, but still does a very good job so it would
be a waste to replace it with something that would have no more power than it
already has.
