Five years on the circuit, started with pole system. Now all the rage seems to be the hotwater system. I can't afford the ionics £14000 grand all singing and dancing system. Friend has upgraded to hot using a hot portable shower system used to clean horses. Runs off gas bottles. Seems to do the trick, just would love to get the collective ideas on what has worked for you guys and gals.Any advice greatly appreciated.Jack
hot water is a luxury and not needed but it adds a bit of comfort during the colder months and it does help with dirty first cleans, add on jobs, snail trails, birdmuck, pollen spots, etc.also it can stop your water freezing in your hose on colder days and keep you working.i much prefer working with hot water than cold water.the hose is easier to manage.
Smurf do you get any issues with the flame being blown out with that 8L job?
Does it need a flue?
If you just want hot every now and again I would use an L10 heater with gas bottle,if you want to be able to get in the van every morning flick a switch and get hot water with no hassle buy a diesel heater. Now all my wiring is correct for it if it went wrong I'd buy another tomorrow,£3000 and going nearly 11 years later you don't need to be good at maths to know it works out pennies to run one.
