buy a secondhand riso because thats what they will be printed on.

I have had a few now you can get them for about £200 on ebay you want one thats been in a church or light use. take care some dont print our A3 if you want to do the pink flyer.

Massive advantage is that you can test two versions of your leaflet against each other. and change the headline, copy or offer and you dont have to worry about exp date running out as you print as you go.

they are large so you need space.

After reading this topic I thought I would try and find a local printer to do my leaflets, so searched around and found someone who was local, this is is his quote....

Digital version, where multiple versions can be printed at the same time, i.e. change of name of town or other details

Hi Paul,
I would also recommend Mark at DP design&print. I have been using him for years and have to say that for quality and price you would do well to find better.
Like Mike I first tried sourcing leaflets from local print firms and was left with my jaw on the floor for what they were charging. I also would second the point that you must always check the spelling and proofs perhaps he just likes to keep us on our toes
How Mark makes money I don't know in fact he is always moaning about it but the way I see it is that I will take advantage whilst I can.
If he stopped doing leaflets tomorrow I would just have to see it as a bonus that I got such a great deal for so long.
Lets remember  that as much as you never want to believe that customers ever throw our lovely leaflets straight in the bin the reality is that a very high percentage do end up there so why pay more than you have to just to keep the recycling firms busy
I have another 20000 leaflets on route now.
