What does the word 'cheap' mean? Just because something has a lower than expected price does not make it 'cheap' and You can't compare carpet cleaning with the cost of leaflets, it's like comparing them to the cost of baked beans, it's ok to price shop for a product like leaflets as you are using a constant variable eg 135gm, full colour, A5, 4 day delivery. carpet cleaning is a service with very different level of service.
Finding a good local printer who has access to pro designers is hard unless you are looking to spend big money on printing, asking for 10k leaflets is like us been asked to clean a small toilet carpet...... Not worth the hassle.
It's sound like I am biased towards Mark at DP design but if I knew a better or cheaper company I would reccomend them, but I have looked and for a full design and print Mark takes some beating ( but he can't spell so make sure you proof read what he does )
Well that's a new take on things, so if Bob's Carpet Cleaning Service charges £10.00 a room its not 'cheap' it's just lower than the expected price from Harry's Exclusive Carpet Carpet at £20.00 a room, in my book that makes it
cheaper.
And Mrs Patel has chosen Bob because she is not too concerned that he does not pre-vacuum and move all the the furniture. But she must have something to use as a comparison so initially she got an estimate from Harry who carries out a more comprehensive service as most on here I am sure do, especially those that complain on a regular basis about 'cheap' carpet cleaners in their areas under cutting them on FB or whatever.
What complete nonsense, we all look for a bargain we just all value our
'own' service much higher and cannot understand why the likes of Mrs Patel would choose a cheaper service over our obviously superior cleaning.
As for leaflets, well they already start from a low base, nobody 'expects' to pay the proper rate for the service because in their years of rushing to the bottom to under cut each other it would be impossible to compete if they suddenly raised their prices to the correct levels. So when you get a topic on here about leaflets (and there have been hundreds) it always goes back to the lowest price you can get and that's because 'everyone' expects to pay a low price so looks for the
cheapest option, even if like this one the poster was not originally asking that question.
Now if you want to talk about 'volume' then that's a something else.
