Im no tight git at anything in life but want to get it out there that my SLX25 which has been used everyday 6/7 days a week is 7 years old, only thing changed is the clamps! I can see it lasting another 7 years also, i also have an SLX18 thats 5 years old that gets used when i have 2men in a van that still has the old clamps on and is fighting strong with no spinning. Also to note i never clean out the poles or look after them with maintenance replacing tape etc, in fact the end tape on the SLX25 had totally warn away about 4/5 years ago.
Anyone else had a good l ife with there pole?

I still use my original slx25, must be at least 7 years old, on a daily basis also. The one with the diamond patterned carbon, best pole i've ever had and i've had a few.

The SLX 18 must be 3 years old now, no 1 section clamp is as tight as it will go, It holds when I leave a few inches in though. still use the old Harris for doing the ones behind bars. The first 5 lengths of the 60ft Superlte are getting knackered.

My SLX 22 is so old I can't remember, 5 or 6 years. Everything is still good, never had to replace clamps. Did break one section and given it a good kicking but it just wants to keep going. Had an xtreme 25 for 3 years and all is good. You do have to be gentle with it though.
