Maybe you accept that as mobile friendly? ;D clicking the full website does not work either.

The site is optimised to present a shortened version of what is available on the regular site. It's usual practise.

Perhaps you'd like to show us your website, desktop and mobile version. Like you say, proof is in the pudding.

Thats odd Cumbucket you should say that as Google doesn’t think so. Maybe you should try refraining from the need to medicate your brain from your life.

How do you know he's chumbucket/Patrick star after only 4 posts?
I knew after one. In a couple of weeks he'll be banned again I'm sure. He can't help but be unpleasant.

It's not optimised at all, usual practice is to have a site displays at least something like the full version and have an acceptable menu system. I agree with the previous poster that your site is amateurish in the grand scheme of things. Does that make me a troll? ???

It's not just 4 posts , he keeps trolling and getting banned and then starts a new profile and the circle starts again

£1800 is not a bad price at all.  It never ceases to amaze me that people have an aversion to paying properly for the tools that generate income for them!

I once paid £5,000 for a website (not window cleaning) and it was absolutely top notch.  If you want superb quality and great design, you have to pay for it, its as simple as that.

Sure you can have it done cheaper or use a rubbishy do-it-yourself type thing, but it will look home-made.  For example, the Nathanael guy who is always popping up on here, everyone raves about him but in my opinion his sites are mediocre at best, and definitely have a home-made flavour to them.

I suppose it depends what you want it to do.  Do you just want it to be a device for people to find your contact details?  Or do you want to give the impression of high-quality?

If it's the latter, then £1800 is a steal.

I totally agree. If you just want your name and contacts for customers to find you  a one page template will do.

If you want to market yourself  on the internet you have to spend at  least this sort of figure or your wasting your time.

Thanks for your replies.
We have an okay site already, just need to keep it fresh looking, more professional etc.

It's all about perception, baby.

I guess looking at those domain names it would help a wee bit for better google ranking without too much effort ;D

Well, the average on this thread is about £2400. So we've gone for it.
