so many grey areas with gas ( insurance wise ) and also the boilers as many dont have the correct CE certs thewy say they do

You won't really know if you're correctly inshored unless you have a problim.

I was looking at hot water regulations that concern trades that need to transport gas in a vehicle. What I read, I think it was from the Calor Gas website, that the same regulations apply to trades such as ourselves and plumbers as do for those who transport gas for pleasure purposes, such as caravan owners.

Its once you get above a certain amount of gas transported that stricter regulations com win to force. And of course more dangerous gases.

You won't really know if you're correctly inshored unless you have a problim.

This is what i found if you ask the insurance company direct questions they will not give a definative yes or no and would not commit anything to paper - so erring on the side of caution i id rather not use gas esp. as i employ

I don't know the ins and outs but things like turning the gas off when driving, isolating the cylinder, gas safe fitting, co2 possibilities, warning stickers, proper ventilation etc etc means I can't be arsed with it any more.

im with aplan and i asked they said its fine but i had to tell them the size gas bottol wich is a 13 kilo one they said ur fine as long as u tell them and also i asked if i could install it my self and again they said yes as long as its fixed in the van

leaving the doors open is fine when in use as the gas just goes out in the air i allways turn the gas off when im not using it ie driving to the next job ect i love my heater and would not wana work with out it now
