I was not too bothered myself about the bleach smell either until I started using blackwash that I must admit worked rather well without a strong bleach anyoing smell. That's when I realised what a difference a good suficant and scent makes to a softwash mix.

Smudger did mention a while ago he uses I think a buble gum scent but can't find the product on the tinternet anywhere. It also seem bowmans site has done away with scents now too since mr cleaver products are now on that site.

Any help chaps with a link to what you use please as I would prefer to make my own softwash mix as if/when required?

I use clover fresh deodoriser concentrate they do a variety of fragrance s the bubble gum is very good mixing ratio is 30 to 1  , and use washing up liquid as a surfactant works well

Many thanks for that but was hoping to get a much more concentrated scent for a masker than that as on some jobs I can get through a very large amount of hypo based softwash mix.

Cleverwash is basically amine, scent mash and a bit of quats - it does work and its a convenient way of buying it - but expensive compared to bulk amine

Scents :- http://mistralni.co.uk/collections/fragrances-and-perfumery

Many thanks BDCS.

Can I ask which one do you like to use in the link and how much needs to be added as looks very concentrated to me?
