Thought I would give a quick update chaps of my little mishap all because I was not wearing gloves.

Well my hurty fingers turned out a lot worse the day after so was taken to my local A&E. Was seen and treated quite quickly and then sent home. However was told I had to go to another hospital miles away that has a burns unit the following morning to get it looked at. As it was just an appointment I was just expecting them to take a quick look and send me on my way as you do.
However by the time they took the dressings off to take a look my fingers and the top part of my hand was like a balloon. Needless to say I was quite shocked of the state of it as not only the burns had got a lot worse but an infection had set in so was admitted to the burns ward there and then. Four days later after the initial treatment I'm so glad to be able to sleep in my own bed tonight without listining to people screaming out during the day and all hours of the night in pain. Bless em :'(

Thanks Nathan  ;)

I've got to go back to the burns unit for a checkup on wednesday but will still be off for a week or so until it heals up properly.
