ProLoc Hose Reel Inlet Issue
« on: September 16, 2016, 11:31:12 am »
Hi everyone,

I've got a ProLoc Heavy Duty hose reel, and the inlet elbow joint is leaking really badly. I'm trying to replace it (i've just to fix it, it's not worked).

Does anyone know anywhere where I spare parts can be bought for these reels? I've tried windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk, the company I bought it from years ago, but no joy.

Any help would be really appreciated>

Many thanks
Jamie

There is a post in this thread by LeeGLS that will help you. The swivel is available from Sealey which looks to be the same, but you need to phone them. Try to get thread sizes to be sure.

Hi bassjamm, I just bought a ProLoc and fitted it to van yesterday - wow ! van mounted its effortless compared to the claber reel I was using !.
How long had you had your reel before the swivel leaked ?
Having read your post wondering if I should order one as a spare whilst fresh in my mind and available.

Thanks for the input and the links folks.

Hi pal. I've had a pair of them fitted for about 6-7 years. The one with the leak has been an issue for the past two years, only dripping a little from time to time to begin with...it's over the past few months that it's become a real issue.
