gardiner backpack

hi I use my backpack 4 times a month went to use it nothing happens stripped it down all wires ok no noise from pump but it got very hot and the volt meter on the side  shows power any ideas thanks andy

Hope its fixable buddy, but probably stripping it back has damaged your warranty on it, as im sure Alex would have sorted it for you bud

12 month warrant so your fine stripping it back.

Alex will be able to trouble shoot it for you though I'm sure.

It sounds like a problem with the switch itself, either the wiring or perhaps an internal fault.

It's hard to say without seeing it though. :(

Or could even be a fault in the battery too. How often did you charge it? There supposed to be kept pretty topped up with charge.

If the power is getting to the volt meter and it is lighting up then it will probably be the pump that is at fault.

To confirm this drop the battery out of the holder and connect two wires from the battery terminal to the pump connections (easiest to connect to the pump feed from the back of the volt meter).

Once confirmed it is worth checking pump over for jamming or any wiring issues.
