away to replace my filters in prf-ro   when trying to undo the tool you get for it snaps        any tips on what i could use to undo them  there bloody tight

I've not had that problem. But how about an oil-filter chain wrench?

that might be the very awnser...
ive got couple of them white  tools for the smaller  r o  so will try em in morning... if they dont shift it will try your method

Heating the threads with hot water or maybe a hairdrier will probably make them easier to unscrew, it works for me.

Have some wheatabix (blast from past)
And use your hands. You can get a good grip on them due to the nature of their design.
Yet i would also depressurized unit as well.
