Leak

I have a leak all of a sudden coming from the shurflow strainer before the pump it's about 18 months old, I have taken it apart cleaned it out and even tried some ptf tape And still no luck, had anyone had this leak before

Yes, I found it to be a very small split in the hosepipe where it connected to the strainer. I cut about a centimetre off the end of the pipe & problem solved. If it's not this it may be worth just getting another strainer.

Iv had them bust in frost but they don't normally leak for no reason, just replace it they're not expensive.
