K Rend cleaning & price help
« on: August 05, 2016, 11:10:26 am »
I've been doing a bit of k rend cleaning now and then but not really cleaned anything really bad apart from the usual green stuff.

What would you suggest best methods and products to use on this one?

Also roughly how much would you charge for a 3 bed detached?

Many thanks .

Front & back don't seem so bad as the gable ends but still all 4 sides need cleaning properly.

I was thinking myself around the £400 mark as there are plenty of k rend properties nearby that needs cleaning too.
I'm sure with the right set up you could do at least two or maybe 3 in a day.

I would be quite content with say a gross turnover of 800 - 1400 a day doing softwashing and not bother do anything else.
1 or 2 days a week of course as I'm no that greedy nor would I want to work my socks off full time either ;D

As long as the insurance is footing the bill…it's easy. Don't know why anybody bothers with anything else.

Thanks Chris, I can't find much info about metaclear but I take it is a gel based sh solution that can be applied via wfp method too?

I just found this

MetaClear

MetaClear is a non penetrating gel formulated for removing black discolouration from render and masonry without impregnation. Brush on and rinse, the gel is fast acting and low odour.

MetaClear lubricates the brush and limits the risk of surface abrasion. The detergency is achieved through the action of sodium hypochlorite and the sequestration of impurities in the gel.

MetaClear is used before or after the AlgoClear treatment. If the surface is too contaminated, it is preferable to open the pores first and soak the render after. In many other instances, the AlgoClear treatment is carried out first and the remaining marks either left to recede naturally, or removed with MetaClear.

The delivery system consists in pumping the MetaClear up a pole into a brush. The product is then rinsed.

So in other words it's just sh mixed with wallpaer paste as algoclear don't seem to remover black metabolic .
My question is now why bother with algoclear at all then ???

What seems funny to me how algoclear was dead against sh and was publically bashing other sh suppliers selling it for render cleaning etc but now is supplying it themselves under the name of metaclear... Go figure

Probably they soon realized they were losing quite a bit of business to the likes of Benz so quickly worked on new products to be more competitive who knows?

Metaclear is a gel for localised stain removal…not for spraying .Metaclear  part of a full render cleaning package, bio-cide , graffiti remover, stain remover, tannin remover and a breathable sealer …for sandstone window cills etc .  I really don't think the frenchman is losing sales to anybody!
