1860s house with a brick floor in the basement - bricks damp as laid onto the mud leading to efflorescence as well as builders grime and general dirt.
have looked at products to deal with this but am conerned about the fumes in a confined space with limited ventilation and effects on metallic objects as a result.
any recommends for products to deal with efflorescence safely??
have explained the cause and that it will return but householder wants to give it a go if feasible.
