Limiserv ST Helens

Never posted on here but feel need to now as a warning.

We have done window cleaning work, quotes and provided cleaners out of our area for a company based in ST Helens called limiserv.  We are based in Wirral.

They don't pay anyone!!!!!  They are very nice when they ask you to do the work but that's where it ends.

I've done a quick search and found other people who have been conned on Facebook and other  window cleaning forums.

I've been chasing payment now since February.  They soon stop taking your calls answering emails.  The girl that contacts you is Alisha Dennett and you also deal with Daniel Cleave the owner.

This is their website  http://www.cleaningservicecompanies.co.uk/

I've attached his Linkdin profile.

Months have gone since we did the work. We have received many lies from them.  Now after searching I see many others have also been conned.  They operate all over the country so you may receive a call one day from them to do work.  Be warned.  I will be taking this further just didn't want any other window cleaners being scammed by them.

I was contacted by Daniel Cleave about 3 /4 months ago to do an urgent window clean on a Primark near to me in Broughton Shopping Centre but couldn't get to it until the following week - it had to be done that day or tomorrow ... explained that's not how we work as too busy just to drop everything to fit a one off in from someone we had never dealt with plus wanted pre payment if my quote was accepted ... didn't go down too well ..... lucky escape  :)

Check with the gov website to check he is not a limited company.
If not (or he is), fill in a small claims court online for £25.00. If you have invoices etc, you will win. , this is because he has not denied the debt.
Give him seven days notice of suing ( mention that this will severely affect his credit rating for six years) and go for it, don't worry if he claims he was not warned, the postal rule covers that.
I suspect with his ego, you will be paid.

Cheers for the heads up on these.  👍 They phoned today wanting us to do a one off sparkle clean on a new Aldi store in Warrington.

I turned the job down when payment wasn't made upfront. Somebody took it on though as there was a pic in the local paper with the building looking nice and clean. I hope they get paid, but I doubt it.

I am sure that somewhere along the line the company you are cleaning the windows for hold a responsibility. After all you have cleaned their windows and have not been paid. They could be implicit in a fraud.
Send them an invoice. Threaten to take them to court. Go for it.

Hi guys,

I've done some window cleaning work for this company(Limiserv) in May and haven't been paid. Alisha Dennet contacted me for a job in Catford, London to clean the windows at Wren Kitchens(very difficult job) . She told me she works for a company named Nine Stones Cleaning and she was very nice and polite on the phone, answering her phone and replying to email very quickly. All of that stopped after I sent her my invoice. Now I have to deal with a guy called Daniel Gleave from Limiserv (he says he works in accounts department) and he keeps giving me excuses every day for the invoice not beeing paid. I hope it'll get paid in the next 7 days otherwise I will put all my energy into getting paid and making trouble for them.
Will keep you guys posted.

These guys really are scumbags, I hope you get paid, but with their past history, I doubt you will.

UPDATE

After 35 days I managed to convince them to pay me. I have been very persistent and after 30 days I gave them a Notice of Intended court proceedings and they started to shake a little but they only cracked when I gave them a 48hours Legal Notice to pay the overdue invoice, threatening them that I will pass on their details to enforcement bailiffs.
Scumbags paid 3hours before the deadline.
So...never give up

Hello, I too have done work for Alisha Dennet and not been paid.
This seems to be a constant theme throughout her and Daniel  Hills company's.
To date I have found four company's that these two have been involved with and every single one of them has payment issues with the sub-contractors they have used.
So far there are about 30 others that have not been paid.
Do you have a mobile no. for her as the one she gave us is now no longer in service

We have also done work for Limiserv - Alisha Dennet, I can only advise anyone to stay well clear, as it does seem they aren't paying anyone if they can get away with it.

Took us months to get paid on the first construction clean up and was still owed from the second time.   Never again!!

Cheers Guys.
I read this a while back and the name stuck. They are looking for window cleaning on Wren's new showroom in Stretford at the end of this month.
Without the heads up, I would probably be the mug doing it.
Tom.

they've had me over £350.
Same scenario  rush job needed doing tomorrow etc etc.
certainly learned my lesson .
That was over 12 months ago now , hard to believe they still use same names and are still able to scam us all .

As they are still going and others manage to get their money eventually, is there a particular reason you aren't chasing this one down?
It's a game of three halves!
