mold on carpet and sofa
« on: July 23, 2016, 07:18:45 pm »
Been asked to look at a relatively new rented flat that has mold on the carpet and onto a sofa.I have advised the lady to get the landlord to rectify the damp as steam cleaning(HWE) the carpet wont solve the problem.Cant find a product  / method that would be worth it for her and dont want to just clean it and take the money.Any advice appreciated guys............Alan

Obviouslya severe dampness problem in the property. Unless remedied the problem will just return. Cleaning then post spraying with Formula 429 will keep the mould at bay for a while.

Don't make any promises - mould can be very, very difficult to remove and you might not get a good result.
