That's ideal.

I was thinking of buying a GrippaVac again.

The good thing with Grippa is all the support you receive, plus we already have a GrippaVac with poles so spares are always laying around the yard.

Just make sure you check the carbon content of the poles with those kits. The Genie vac I believe is 50% carbon and 50% fibre glass and the Gutter Sucker is 70% fibre glass and 30% carbon (ours are 100% carbon and I'm sure Grippas are too, carbon is far more rigid than fibreglass as you all know from your window cleaning poles).

Good point mate!

We have had 3 carbon sections snap so far and there pricey to replace. The guys also have an alley pole now for savage jobs.

The new set up with be for domestic only and will only need to go 30ft, there other van will take care of the commercial and savage work.

I need to weigh up the pros and cons.

That's the only trouble with using Hi Modulus carbon fibre, it's lighter than standard modulus carbon BUT it is VERY brittle. We use standard modulus , you sacrifice a small amount of weight but it is more robust than high modulus as with window cleaning poles. Our carbon cloth supplier also manufactures high end fishing rods and when we mentioned hi modulus he said they get the same problems using it for fishing rods!! He even said they even lose some to breakages during manufacture!!

Nick is  quite correct - our poles are 100% high quality carbon. This reflects in the price but also reflects in the quality of the pole.
