HaHa.
What have tyre's  got to do with window cleaning. At no time has Pure Freedom said it is the customers fault! (unlike Dunlop according to...)
All I'm saying that there are two sides and only one is ever aired on here ' the hose is nearly a year old, it's been pulled out across paths around walls and it's showing damage! only one person surprised here!!!
Mart

Get a grip, strange you have followed the post closely enough to know how old the hose is but haven't seen the pictures of the
hose, (roll eyes)
Yes its been that badly abused that the PF logo hasn't even been worn off the surface, a blind man could see that the hose is faulty. (roll eyes )
PF haven't said it the customers fault, so what's stopping them from sorting the issue ?
PF haven't had a chance to reply, so what's stopping them ?
Running off at the mouth because somebody's dares to expect a decent bit of customer service and has to go to the trouble of outing a company online to get it.

Exactly SeanK.

Nathan has a complaint about the hose supplied by PF. Its got nothing to do with the manufacturer of the hose PF have purchased it from. Its between Nathan and PF.

The case PF have with the manufacturer of the hose has nothing to do with Nathan.

At the moment PF have admitted that it isn't an operator fault, but who among us have the technical skills to prove that the delamination is a manufacturing fault if we took legal action?

I certainly won't give the accolade to PF that their hose is the best. Just because its triple layered means nothing to me.

Nathan says that Gardiner hose is only double layered.  But no one has said anything about the thickness of those layers.

Gardiners must have supplied thousands of meters of their hose and I haven't heard of many complaints on this or any other forum about quality issues. My double layered hose has slices out of it's outer layer but its been going for a long time and has well and truly paid for itself.

Personally, I wouldn't buy any more hose from them (PF), period.

Not strictly relevant but I use Gardiner pole hose on my hose reel - have been for three months and I'm sure it will split at some point sooner than reel hose would but it is so light and easy to chuck around I reckon it pays for itself in me not having to lug heavier stuff about.

When it got "nicked" on a sharp edge I just put a dab of superglue on it and it's been fine ever since.

Carry on using reel hose by all means but I wouldn't worry too much about how many layers it has.
It's a game of three halves!

Sounds a really good idea but don't running say 100 m of pole hose on a reel put a lot of stress on a wfp pump?
