Tips on render cleaning
« on: June 23, 2016, 06:05:00 pm »
Got 7 houses to clean soon.

We  did a test today, we left blackwash on for 10 minutes and washed it off. There was still black marks on the walls, but looks loads better.

We are thinking of soaking the walls with black wash for 1 hour and then using the jet wash with 30ft lance on the lowest setting to wash it all off. What does everything think the results will be like?

Any tips on how to get this looking good? I'm still very new at this.

Cheers

I personally think blackwash at the ratio they want it diluted down is very weak hypo so needs to be reapplied on hard to remove stubborn black marks. You also need to give it a good soaking and scrub with a wfp too. I would not use a standard pressure washer on k rend myself as could cause more damage than good.

Your wasting your money with black wash get some hypo apply at 50% dilution 15 mins job done and rinse off - use a long range nozzle with low pressure

Be aware not all stains are organic and can be removed with hypo/black wash/algoclear

Thanks for the replies.

Will be looking at adding more hypo to the mix or just doubling what Benz recommend and see how we go.

Will leave the pressure washer at the yard on day one and  see how we get on.
