Thought would ask experienced people first.
 We have done couple of soft wash minor jobs using algo clear and reach and wash.
It hasn't been our market so far but there is interest of current clients in  the service hence I am about to invest and order proper kit for the task.
Prefer to speak to people that actually do the work rather than sell the products first.
I am not sure if that's something you would be keen to share your thoughts on what to choose to set the kit up? Appreciate in advance

I didn't know there was any other kit. WFP is fine, we do use a pressure washer with a extended pole on some jobs.

How do you use your wfp setup to do soft washing is it just a case of hooking pole and pump up to a different tank with the solution in it then put pure water through pump afterwards to clean it?

It depends on what you want to pump but its better to have a viton sealed and aluminium free pump for hypo. A larger output is better as most wfp pumps are less than 6 ltrs / min. Smaller domestics this will surfice at first.

I had a k rend render cleaning phone enquiry come through today and I don't even advertise I do it which I found rather odd.
I suppose if you advertised and won a nice contract then whatever kit you decided to buy would soon pay for itself.

Thank you all for replies.
Any soft wash undertaken by us we have been using wfp with algoclear so far. Minor domestic roof cleans. Scrape and spray.

We haven't been using hypo for soft wash yet.

Never pushed it but we landed couple of jobs from our current clients recently and one of them is this hotel covered in krend ( sorry for the picture but was actually taken to show my partner where we are to stay for 3 days when its to be done):


Another 7 hotels of the owner are on the way.

I trust there is a better way (or kit) for the application than 12v 6lpm pump and brush. Its not sarcastic in any way.

Leaving what i have seen on youtube from US i looked at Softwash, Algoclear and Benz and couple of companies that i met in Amsterdam during the last show.

Benz are very informative and I am keen to go with their advise but ist always good to ask people that do the job daily.

If you can leave bleach out of the equation…it will be easier for you. Any of the Quats based products will be a better choice allround.

Chris, can I ask which type of delivery system would you choose to use to apply Quats on that size building as I'm aware you have tried quite a few different types ?

Yes I know but was really after the preference of the types of set up/kit people like to use and pro's & con's of them too.

On my end: the choice might be a hit and miss really. I will post some details of the stuff I choose and thoughts after the job is done. It might help someone else.

I am newbie to this. My review will be a newbie's review surely not most accurate one but there has been no other specific in this topic really yet since its started sadly. Might give a bit of any sort of guidance to other newbies like me.
