WAGTAIL PIVOT FIX BETTER THEN NEW
« on: June 03, 2016, 12:13:03 pm »
This will not only stop the disc from wobbling around.
But give you a better positive feel when using the squeegee.
Easy step by step instructions.
No special tools needed. 1/4 inch drill bit, small bolt nyloc nut and ¼ inch pop rivet THAT’S IT!!!

Have you seen the new wagtail offering that has more than one pivot?

I see the company (Beautiful View) doing the review in Canada hasn't got them on his website yet.

Yes have, this is an old idea they had about 6 years ago.
As they sent me a prototype of the movement at the time to see what we thought.
Well told them what we thought. ;)
Never really got back to us after that. ???
Enough said. ::)roll  ;D

Interesting. What did you find that was of concern to you?

So the issues with the movement can not really scrub properly.
Have to have a strangle hold on the handle not possible to use with light grip.
Flipping it over to squeegee is difficult also.
Now see that they have put a big over sized scrubbing pad on it, with excess scrubbing flop over the edges which adds more weight when wet.
And then would be too heavy to use by hand.
On the pole NO!

Thanks. I was thinking about its suitability for that swimming pool job from a couple of months back as I thought the second pivot may have helped with the tight angle I need.

When a saw the video I wondered if flipping over was going to be a problem. Never thought of the weight issue.

Please take note for the people that use metric sizes.
Use only ¼ inch drill bit.
There is no metric equivalent.
¼ inch which equals 6.35mm.
To use the closes metric size drill bit to this is 6.5.
Then the sleeve will fit loosely.
