My friend, Cluey popped around to demonstrate a new toy he bought the Vikan Ergoclean internal glass cleaning system. He uses it mainly for internal stores but he was happy to demonstrate it on my back patio doors.  This purchase was brought on by seeing the Unger Stingray no doubt.

Can I ask.... Is it not easier & faster to get the old squeegee out? it seemed like he was scrubbing for ages on one side of the door?

In that example yes,  but on regularly cleaned windows it's very quick and you can reach the tops without stretching

I wasn't saying they were new or anything, some have been using them for years. Since the Stingray from Unger a flurry of these have made a revival in some. Cluey posted on Facebook his desired alternative for indoor store cleaning on a maintenance clean. I thought I would film it and ask questions about it useful to some....

Cluey would use a squeegee on that glass, he was simple demoing it. He said that he only uses it 3 or 4 times per week if that and I can say they will not be for indoor residential windows

Oh I see,  I watched the video a  few times trying to listen at how many windows he was getting from one pad but couldn't here him because Lee wouldn't shut up talking

On first cleans/manky glass pads will need changing frequently so better to have more than not enough

Looks quite good there's some inside job s that would benefit this do you change the pads to buff up or use same pad to wash and clean window and also what s being used on the pads

The new unger stingray which uses 3m liquid is rated by some on here as very good.

Still the downside is the extension poles plus head is only rated for safe usage to a max height of 13'

That's a great demo video from unger.

In the office I average about 25 of that size window before a pad change.
Just depends on what's on the glass

I actually already have the Velcro unger Holder already attached to a pole I use it for conservatory roofs with the non scratch  scourer so I would only need the pads but what do you all use is it pure water or a glass cleaner

Cluey in the film uses glass cleaner. But you can just as easy use a fine mist of pure water.

Pure does t usually do so well,

I make a mix of 50% pure 25% white vinegar and 25% brite (glass cleaner)
