I leave a bill with how much owing with a note that their windows have temporarily been stopped until payment received in full and don't clean again.

madness, dont do again, chase your money its yours, make there lifes a bit difficult, hassle them for abit, if you dont get anywhere after a bit have to right it off.

If I tried to chase it, it would stress me out and I can't be dealing with that. Instead of writing it off though, it remains on record indefinitely for when they call me in the future. I then remind them; no money in full plus fresh clean upfront, then no clean.

I can cope with it this way.
