damaged polish on wood floor - how to fix asap?
« on: May 11, 2016, 01:21:51 pm »
one of my guys have just pulled a metal bike across a wooden floor and damaged the floor. they are sure it's just the polish on top and not actually damaged the wood below, though i'm not entirely convinced until i see it.

anyone able to suggest a way we can deal with this?

May be a good idea to find out where or who the floor was supplied and what it was treated with when fitted or manufactured.

Alternatively get a professional wood floor sanding bloke who will probably be able to fix it a piece of cake I think. May be a case of light hand sanding and applying polyurethane seal perhaps.

I would have though some honing powder will suffice, no need for sanding.

But important to get the same finish .
