Do you celebrate business events?
« on: May 03, 2016, 06:08:48 pm »
Sometimes working life does feel like a bit of a grind so one of the things I try to do is celebrate events.

So, for example, tomorrow is the sixth anniversary of our first day trading so I'm going out with the family to celebrate.

We've done it previously with notable turnover numbers, new franchisees, etc.  Does anyone else do anything similar or do you just not notice things like this?

Yep,  I gave the vat man a lovely big cheque on the anniversary of registering.

Had a cocktail or 2 when we hit 500 t/o

I dont see anything to celebrate for being in the cleaning game for 6 years. Maybe 10/50/100 years if a big successfull company but defo not for a small window cleaning firm. What type of event is 6 years cleaning windows anyway?.

Whatever floats your boat Vin but no I don't.
I suppose now thinking about it I could run an employee of the month but that would be a bit of a one horse race as its just me  ;D

The thread below this one is about raising a 24' ladder.

I'd celebrate that.

Indeed.  Makes it easy to remember.

And tomorrow it'll be the Revenge of the Fifth.
