Never said I did. 
All did was get a piece of scrubbing material work out how to attach it to a squeegee channel.
So it helps the squeegee to glide.
As said it nothing new there are similar attachments on many different tools.
What's the problem.
Would you of done it differently??

Anyway this is something  people can do so to have less drag on the longer wide body 24inch plus channels.

All you need is;
Shade cloth.
Cable ties.
Any type scrubbing material.
25mm wide Velcro. Loop/Hook
Spline roller.

Nice informative vid H Man.

Take no notice of Dave as I think he has missed the point about your mod to larger sorbo channels if you ask me.

I would imagine in oz what with the heat and all evaporation can be a real issue with channel drag when trying to blade larger panes of glass efficiently. Hence why you came up with this lubrication strip mod way back on the larger sorbo channels.

I was making and using this exact same thing in 1980.
It will not remove excessive muck in one go.
Mine were more padded, you simply tilted it back to wash the window as with an applicator then tilted forward to squeegee and wash at the same time.

Well that goes without saying dare say that there are many more people out there have done the same thing.
Although this one is only so to make it easier to use long squeegee.
Just found that it was easy to attach the scrubber material on a Sorbo channel.
