Back on the 22nd August last year I broke my ankle quite badly.  It was my own stupid fault for rushing around.  A stupid choice I made.  Well with that I made another choice, to bounce back and get fitter then ever before and run the London Marathon.

On Sunday I did just that!  I finished in a respectable 4 hours 14 mins & 43 secs (not bad for someone who couldn't walk until just before Christmas) and raised £1800 for charity in the process!

Thought it might be nice to share my story as a few of you gave some solid advice about how to retain my customers during the down time.  Doesn't matter what you want to achieve, health or business.  Make a choice, stick to it and you might just surprise yourself.

well done john.i remember the guy who i used to work for back in 1992 running it(he was 44 at the time) and he was in work the next day running up and down ladders.i thought he was superman.i was in my early 20s and couldnt even run a mile!

he d broke his pelvis previously falling off a ladder.i still see him working from ladders now at 68 all these years later.
