« on: April 24, 2016, 08:27:10 am »
Advice needed please chaps.
I have a business page on facebook which has served well and advertised on. Also a business page on a social media service streetlife for my target audience. But looking on some threads on here and checking them out, some of you guys have great web sites and so thought i need to sort one out as well. Just wondering if any advice on which company to purchase the web space from etc.
Any positive advice really appreciated

I used Nathaniel Jones at avondhu-internet.com - very good.  He did this for me: highlinecleaning.com

I find Facebook and Streetlife attract messers and the like who don't want to pay for the service.

The moving bits on the site as you put it are just a wee bit faster than yours that's all as the widget can be tweaked how you want it to work. I for one don't have a problem how it works speed wise. Yours is deliberately slowed down because of the second layering of text that shoots onto each image. That's the main difference so people can read the text it if they want that's all.

Nate did both of ours - he works really hard to provide you with what you want/need and require

Totally different. Mine is just on the home page. If you click pressure washing services on that site, after a few seconds the page starts to move and info drops down. I found it annoying, just imho.

Natt needs to look at it, its not right at all. Just shown my mate. Try scrolling on a page. Images are jumping up and down when scrolling. Thats not correct, shouldn't be doing that. :)

On my site? I've been on it and it works fine.. the only bit that moves is the top header, it gets small when you scroll down. Thanks though I'll ask Nat to check to make sure.

Thanks Smurf. I get a lot of positive comments about the site and it brings in quality work, that was the aim. Just had a new customer sign up now funnily enough!

Browser/operating system related. Wouldn't worry about it. Fine on chrome.

Did mine myself using 'Divi' a Wordpress theme.
Very simple and straight to the point.
Combined with Google Adwords, I am getting loads of calls at the moment, but a lot of them are just a waste of time, but then I am picky   ::)roll

PS if you're not sure how to do it yourself then defo get Nat to do it, cause he'll know all the tricks and bits.
