Cleanfix TW1250 carpet extraction machine any good?
« on: April 18, 2016, 12:20:33 pm »
Hi, I am new to carpet cleaning and I am looking for a starter machine.
Would like to ask if somebody is familiar with  'Cleanfix TW1250 carpet extraction machine'? and would it be any good as a starter machine, what I know it is Swiss made what would suggest a quality?
Would appreciate any help,
Thank you
Filip

agree with Kinver   ...  its a bit like the cub   :-X

It looks to the same body as a Gaomei C4 from china  ,   its probably not the worst ... just there is better out there like a heated twinvac alltec express or others .

thank you for a replay , the price is very attractive I think, 400 pounds for machine with very little use compare to 2500 for new  alltec also  I think it is 150 psi strong so strongryer then alltec which is 130psi  also it is SWISS made so I think it can not be compared to Chinese made machines but I will not be arguing I guess you have more experience.
thank you

Filip

You cant go wrong with 400  , snap it up . Im just saying its a single vac machine with no heat ...  so the cleaning ability would not be the same as a heated twin vac .
The body looks similar to the Chinese machine  ,  the swiss company may well be building components into the Chinese body  , thats how it goes these days ... just like the alltec machine i mentioned has an american molded body .

U compare ...  is it likely the Chinese are importing from the swiss or the swiss importing from china  ....

hi John,

Thank you for further explanation, the machine now sold,  I think I am glad I did not buy it, I am starting to think that the best idea would be to invest a bit more and to buy smth. better, I am thinking of Jaguar Cub as a star up machine now., it has strong 300psi pump and it is light  compare to its power and it is around 1200 in  Worldofclean.

thank you a lot

:-X   its up to you but no value with that machine imo   , one 6.6vac is £99 in a body the Chinese would be too embarrassed to build  .
U would be better configuring a full size airflex custom twinvac  on cleansmarts site  , or the mini if u are stuck for space ... or alltec should be able to match any spec  . Should get a fullsize twinvac for 1450+ or so .  Or a high spec mini for around that .

Filip,
A bit of advice.
Go and do a couple of training course and find out what is involved.
Don't buy, or choose  a machine to a sum of money,  buy one that fits  the market you intend to serve. so as an absolute minimum a  twin vacuum machine with at the very least 135 a 150 Psi pump and all of the other pieces of equipment that you need to go  with it, which can cost as much as the machine. Research all of that and come up with a figure. But don't buy yet.
Now  consider hat you will need at least the same amount of money to spend on marketing and if you haven't got that then wait until you have.

Hi Filip

My advice to you would be to get on a couple of training courses, if you have not already done so.

This way you will get to see the machines and try them out, and find out what it is you want from a machine.

I have been on the Cleansmart course with Derek Bolton, which was very good and at only £85 a day is money very well spent.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your advice guys, I think that training is a great idea, probably I would not be able to do without training anyway so I guess it would be better to do training before buying of the machine.
Thank you once again, advice highly appreciated.
