Does anyone that uses this have any problems with the pole hose tangling up ?

I use a fixed reel and often leave the pole connected and wind the pole hose onto the reel , however after a few times the pole hose twists from the action of winding it onto the reel .

Do you just disconnect the pole each time to prevent this on the tubeless set up?

I recommend it
but many think its a gimmick.
Equipment on my van is minimal e.g. one pole ( smax 40 , 3 sections removed equal to slx 25 )
adding and removing sections is a doddle and takes seconds with the tubeless kit ( I'd made my own in the past but exceeds is better )
I find setting up and packing away quicker than before too, plus my van is very tidy and no tangled mess of dripping hose

i mostly use the same pole (extreme 25) but do semi regularly add extensions and find it a pain breaking pole down , so sounds good to me!

But Steve has a awesome product in the univalve valve .

I use a JG fitting. Works well for me.

Cut the pole hose about an inch after coming out of pole and job done.

Had Steve's system for a few years. I also have a fixed power reel. The only time I disconnect from my pole is when I swap to my larger pole. The thin blue pipe twists a lot. I tend to throw most of it in the van with my pole. I have loads of space
 so not a problem

I think thats the point though , if you disconnected each time it wouldnt twist

i always disconnect, and wind it all on the reel , never had any problems with tangling, the best pole hose i`ve ever used

yeah it does twist, that's why i disconnect each time which is not an issue at all seeing as the rectus female fitting is an end stop and also protected by the ejector sleeve if dragged along the ground - actually that's why I bought it because although you can diy something yourself the clever bit is the ejector sleeve - a simple bit of plastic but not something you could easily make yourself.

Yep I've got the univalve and tubeless kit .bloody good and always disconnect the hose.🤓

Not messing about connecting and disconnecting each time. What a pain. Press button to reel in microbore. When it gets to the thin blue hose I slow down. If I hit a knot , I just throw whats left on the van floor. Time is money

Just disconnect hose from pole at last window, hold the end of hose in your hand and walk back to the van, put pole in van and reel the hose in.
Its a bit of a pain, but I got used to it

don't bother and just cut pole hose down to two inc  sticking out from bottom refit ez and off you go , we never un clip poles from start to finish and never have twisted mess of pole hose
