Thanks Steve.  Yeah I only offer it as an extra.   Never used a carpet protector before.

Thats why i chose that one mate because you dont have to mess around diluting etc.
Its something im going to look into aswell because its a no brainer offering it. Can increase job ticket alot for literally just spraying the cleaned carpet!!!

Make sure that the ph balance is correct or it won't work ideally you need fibres to be ph6.5, I'm not a lover of it because you have to have a ventilated room as it stinks.

Odourless mineral solvent is supposed to be odourless and that stinks as well.

I think it's too expensive compared to others such as Chemspecs Stainsield which is water based but comes as a concentrate.

I did a protection job on a new carpet last week, I had a bit spare in the sprayer so when I got home I protected a new pair of suede shoes I've just bought :)

Tried Fluoroseal this morning on a job.  Couldn't really smell anything to be honest.

I like the Chemspec product and it's definitely worked well at a couple of jobs I've been back to a year later but at the dilution rates on the bottle it seems like a lot of liquid to be adding to an already wet carpet.
