Taking Gardiners backpack apart-Help
« on: April 01, 2016, 03:54:13 pm »
Hi Guys,

I might have a loose wire as one of my backpacks has stopped working.(it's fully charged and don't think it's the fuse) Just want to check, does anyone know how to take it apart? I know there are a few screws on the black bit on the bacpack and i'm guessing you then have to pull the yellow bit away from the blue bit? it just won't budge. Anybody who knows any info please kindly reply on here :-)

Thanks.

There are a few screws behind the black backing , once all the screws are taken out pull it apart it's quite stiff

If it is the V3 backpack then to access the electrics you will need to remove the base yellow grill by undoing the 6 screws on the bottom of the backpack. Do not try to separate the blue tank from the yellow base as this will not give you access to anything and may result in damaging the backpack.
