Gardiners badged Aquatec pump constantly pressurising ...
« on: March 31, 2016, 05:34:58 pm »
Why would this be? Flow seems ok. There are no external leaks.

It pressures up. Stops for a couple of seconds then pressurises again constantly. It is 18 months/2 years old.
It's a game of three halves!

Got a controller, pressure switch wired in or not?
Normally it's air in the system.

Well, it's got a bit warmer and sunnier today so you could recallibrate it.
If you've got no spurts at the brush head - no signs of air bubbles then the only other time one of my pump wouldn't cut out was when the battery started to go flat. Sounds weird but it happened to me.

As above, re calibrate it
If its the digital ian sheppard jobbie, then press and hold up and enter until 'cal' shows up
Scroll all the way down to 'aut'
Press enter
After a few seconds a number will show, press enter again
Jon jobbed

You should (ideally) do all that with the water flowing, pole extended and a bit of hose reel pulled out

Wont be air in the system, usually the flojets rattle like a moped rather than pulse when there's air...
