So i have slowly been building up carpet cleaning equiptment, to do as a sideline to my own job.

I have so far done my own, a couple of relatives, and 2 customers over a 3 month period.

Now... when i bought this (prochem steempro 2000, 135psi), I feel kinda got ripped off.  Both motors died after doing my own carpets, and 2 of the 3 wands, (stair tool, upholstery tool) were completley knackered.  My own fault for not testing everything before I left, and its difficult to know if something is right or wrong anyway when first starting.

I have never used another persons machine, so not able to compare if my pump is broke or not.  and there are no videos on youtube which show a wand spraying, like the one I uploaded.

If i let the pressure build up, when i spray it for the first second, the water comes out with a force, then receeds to a water pistol like stream.

The pressure off my 70psi pump up spray bottle feels stronger.  It may be that ive just not used another machine and am paranoid, but something doesn't feel or look right about it.  I have cleaning the jets, nothing blocking them by the way.

just did another quick test, to show it on carpet with close up of jets.

i've noticed on other youtube vids, when the pump is jetting out the water it makes a very loud, pressurized hiss - mine doesn't seem too... its more a low hiss, with a water pistol type stream.

Sorry to say it looks like your pump either needs repairing or replacing unless the feed hose to the pump is getting kinked/trapped when you close the machine.

Take the QC of your hose, the pump should shoot a jet of water 15-20 ft.

this will rule out a wand/jet problem,  fill a 5lt container in less than a minute to check the flow  of the pump.

So havent tried that yet, i took it apart instead.  Heres the inside, where are the brushes? Not them curved things inside the cylinder are they, they are not screwed in or anything, they just looked glued to the side.

The replacement brushes here dont look like anything thats fitted to my pump, and its for same make abd model

Found the brushes, wow they are Tiny! - was expecting them to be the size of washing machine ones for some reason.

Do they look healthy, or?...

Check your jets aren't blocked, often with older wands rust occurs in the hose and little bits of it block them. Happened to me just had to keep unblocking them for a long while

Are there strainers beneath the jets, or maybe a filter somewhere else on the wand?
What size jets are they, that wand looks like one that I have, that is meant for Truck Mount use, with the higher pump pressure. With a 135psi pump the jets would need to be 110015's I would have thought, or 110020's maximum.
Could be that you need a diaphram repair kit, I used to get through a few of these before the pump itself actually died.

Jet sizes are 110015 - no blockages & no strainers, i have taken both jets off and can see right through them, and put pins through.

Dropped the pump halfway through putting it back together, snapped the casing and the brushes snapped as well. So looks like will need another pump after all.   
 
I guess if you do not have 2 machines, it makes it alot harder to diagnose what is the problem, if i would have had another machine to try the wand on, i would have known if it is the wand or the pump!

Not getting into this carpet cleaning lark very smoothly so far!

First of all John your jets are shot. The opening is too big so offering no resistance to the pump. Never poke pins or needles through jets. They are soft brass and you'll make the hole bigger. If you need to clear a jet then either blow through it or use soft copper electrical flex wire.

Bad news is Yes the jets are well f&%ked. 
But unfortunately since you broke it I think
the pump was alright.
