question for tadgh
« on: March 17, 2016, 03:30:15 pm »
Hi Tadgh

What would you recommend as a good way for my customers to maintain and clean their floors after i have stripped them, cleaned them and sealed them.

At the moment i leave them a bottle of chemspec neutral floor cleaner but i'm thinking of leaving them a mop and bucket as well, your the top guy when it comes to that sort of stuff so what do you recommend, i leave them that would comliment the cleaner.

Just to clarify, i just need to know a good system for my customer and advice on how aften they should be mopping etc.

Hi Derek,  The Chemspec neutral floor cleaner is perfect for ongoing maintenance and daily mopping if required. I would always recommend to use a telescopic mop handle with flat aluminum mop frame either 30cm or 40cm in combination with waffle microfiber floor cloths for effective results every time.  Tadgh

Cheers tadgh
from a mop bucket? and how often should your average hard floor kitchen be mopped by the householder or cleaner if they have one?

oh and have you links to the telescopic  mop handle frame and microfiber cloths? so i can see what you mean.

Hi Derek, when you say from a mop bucket i hope you don't mean a kentucky mop system with cotton string mops as these type cotton mops are classed as being  (CFU) and are probably one of the most useless tools used for cleaning any type of flooring.
If the floors are been walked on daily i would recommend to mop them on a daily basis.
If you send me an email Derek to  info@jskcleaning.ie  i will be happy to send you information on our step back mopping systems under no obligation of course.  Tadgh

Hi Derek, when mopping  with waffle microfiber floor cloths you just need to have them lightly damp with water, you can have your neutral floor cleaner diluted into a trigger spray bottle and apply it onto the floor as required, or else just dunk the floor cloths into a bucket of diluted neutral floor cleaner squeeze them out until they are lightly damp and proceed to flat mop the floor. if you click on  www.jskcleaning.ie you can see the step back mop in action. if you like Derek email me with your contact number and i will be happy to discuss other types of mopping systems we also carry which may be of interest to you for leaving behind with your clients.  Tadgh
