Do you worry about it? Take any precautions? We are exposed to the rays far more than most jobs I reckon. I must admit I don't tend to smother myself in sun cream and gradually tan from Easter onwards, short sleeves and shorts. I do worry about it though particularly as so many older customers seem to suffer with it. Maybe this year I'll try harder.
I wear a bush hat when the sun is out. And when it's drizzly - it keeps the rain off my monocle!I also put a bit of suncream on my face and neck when the weather warms up.
My wife, who is fair skinned, had a melanoma removed from her arm 5 years ago, meaning she now has a big chunk missing just below her elbow. She can't go out in the sun without covering up completely or plastering herself with skin cream.I on the other hand am darker skinned, tan at the first glimpse of the sun (people are already commenting on it), I never use skin cream, and don't have any problems. There's no justice sometimes.John
