The brush for sale at the moment is a good choice if that's what your looking for its its lighter though, the brushes to follow ie single trim flocked and different versions of the mono are outstanding IMO. None of the new brushes fold flat they flex if you need them to flex with a slight push with your leading hand,I'm testing around 6 brushes.

Not surprised you like them so much, who wouldnt like 6 free brushes?

Pot calling the kettle black but have to agree suppliers giving out freebies does cause more harm than good, it gets to the stage
where no review or feedback is worth anything.

We're in agreement for once 8)

Free stuff always seems great. I remember I once tested a Gardiner's brush, I thought it was the bees knees, until it was completely deformed after 8 weeks continuous use.
Even then I didn't want to say a bad word about it.

I think Alex was very clever in who he chose to market, I mean test, these brushes. ;)
If I wanted free advertising then nwh would certainly be a good choice for some free testers..

Why? I'd choose people who's opinions are more "mainstream" shall we say.  NWH is on the lunatic fringe.  ;D

IMO as a paying customer, I just don't think these brushes are as good as the hype.
Had another play today and compared to my xline it just doesn't feel as tough or have the same cleaning power.
On upstairs sills the ultimate is definitely not an effective cleaning tool.

Indeed, but he doesn't shut up.

Give him 6 free brushes and watch him endlessly praise these brushes to high heaven.
Certainly more affective advertising then giving free brushes to someone who posts once a month!

I've tried just about every gardiner brush going and the supreme brush was the very worst I've ever used. I use to like them for lightness and because they splayed and were okay for price. For scrubbing power and longevity they weren't that impressive. The only brush of gardiners that I still feel confident to use knowing that it will clean thoroughly to give me confidence the windows have been left cleaned to a high standard without excessive scrubbing is the sill brushes.
I like to use four jets on a brush as using two jets means turning the water flow down otherwise splashing up above the brush head occurs. I like to use a high flow to save time and effort on the glass. With gardiners brushes they fit two jets and have two additional optional holes for two extra jets....they're too close together with a great big gap where bristles should be so there is a lot of scrubbing potential wasted in the design of the brush. The bristles are too few and too loosely bunched together, they need to be more compact like tucker brushes, ionic brushes, xline brushes. It's all very well have lightweight brushes but the brushes need to be more compact with bristles. It's the stock head that can be as light as a feather whilst keeping it's shape. I've lost confidence in trying new brush ranges from gardiners and will continue to replace my old brushes for similar as not willing to try any new ones for the time being, sorry!

One option would be to get gardiners to fit 3mm pencil jets instead of the standard 2mm ones. I have the 3mm on some brushes and it causes far less splash back, enabling you to use a much higher flow rate if you wish.

You used to be able to get different sized jets from Gardiners - don't know if you still can, I haven't looked for a while.

Yes. They still sell 3mm jets.
