selling up/ how much?
« on: March 03, 2016, 11:45:51 am »
hi all, not been here for a while. I want to sell my round, van and equipment and not sure on a job lot price, i will give some details.

Iveco daily 03 reg 101,000
800ltr diy water fed pole system, will need new poles. 40" hf5 ro. 20"pre filters 2x 11ltr ressin vessles. pump hose reel ect
got  fog wash heater but needs a repair on mounting brackets but works perfect
nilfisk vaccum and all traditional gear.

work wise £1500 per month all in nottingham area and surrounding villages
i must stress this work in most peoples eyes is underpriced but ideal for newcomer or someone a bit more aggresive at putting prices up.   i do roughly between £120 to £150 per day

based on these details if i could get an idea of what amount to sell for or if indeed anyone is interested in buying .
i will post an add shortly once i get an idea of whats what.

thanks in advance

steve

I would advertise for 15k but probably accept 12k going from your description.

Very subjective, Iveco is a good van, DIY system still has the same parts as a "professional" one, however condition etc....

For the van in good condition I think £2k give or take.

The work somewhere between 5 and 7k

in all seriousness if i could get 5k for the lot van/equipment/round i would sell. need to get on with my new business and also got issues with my health which is making window cleaning physically difficult. i will construct an add in the rounds for sale section over the weekend and start from their.

Work is too far away for me but if the van was in good nick I could be tempted.....

The van IS great. One of the strongest vans I've had . It's in good condition throughout . If the work goes seperate I will look I up.

What you gonna do instead? Could you rent the round out? (or royalties or whatever the best name for it is)
It's a game of three halves!

I've been day trading stock for the last year and made a substantial amount of money, it's more what I was built to do than window cleaning, also got issues with my back . No wouldn't want the hassle of renting it out, want a  complete break from it and start a new life

Am I rite in saying the hf5 RO is low pressure so can just run off normal taps without booster, if you want to brake the equipment up I would take this the di bottles hose reels and bits and bobs maybe some trad equipment as well

Yes it runs off tap pressure mine is about 50psi and gets it down to 10ppm from 360 odd ppm at tap
Will consider selling bit by bit of round sells seperate. The round is the main part that has to go so I don't have to work it.
