Best pre spray
« on: March 01, 2016, 09:58:23 pm »
Just wondering what people think the best pre sprays are. Also the % of jobs they work on. Always like to see if there is a better one.

Clayton

Theses are the one i rate for dirty carpets

alltec         ultimate master
chemspec  formula 90
solutions    shockwave  not on wool
prochem     clensan

They all work perfectly well if you select the right product for the type of carpet and soiling and follow your pie chart  .

you will hear them say this product worked great but that's generally because its the one they used first and it worked

Cheers guys. And agree with Neil. I use two of the four you mentioned but may just try the other two.

I must admit I am also one of the ones that don't like changing when I find good products 😁

Mate unless I am mistaken  nemesis is £39.99 +vat for 5ltr and m.power is £37.98+vat for 5ltr at same dilution rate . But I suppose if you find its better then worth it .

Do you use F90 as a prespray or as an in tank solution. Ive tried it from the tank but I don't feel as I'm doing a proper job if I don't prespray and agitate.I cant get used to just cleaning from the wand.

If it was cheaper I would use Chemspecs odour kill Plus as my main prespray.

I usually only buy it when I have a big fish factory office to clean (every 6 weeks)  I use it for that job then use up the rest on any smelly jobs I get.

Smells great and can be used  for bonnet cleaning

I,ve been using Mpower more and more tackles smells really well , does well on wool and on upholstery .
ive 15 kg of shockwave that ive not used due to Mpower .

I think the two main keys to using it is very hot water in prespray and good agitation crb

I also use M-power on certain carpets it  does do a good job.

Got about 6 litres left ones used up will try John Kelly's version.  Wont use Nick now,

Have used loads of different pre-sprays over the years most work fine cant tell the difference it sometimes more down to agitation and heat not what the pre-spray is.

since using f90 in this way im also finding much less need for any agitation, apart from the really minging jobs, it just does the job, first time as a rule without agitation......... ;D  much quicker, more jobs per day, great results, whats not to like.....
