Inactive ro

Help needed I've recently sold a van  with a van mounted system with a 4040 ro,the person I've sold it to is a mate and is working his notice before starting cleaning,the system will not have been used for a couple of months,what is the way forward does he need to flush the system on a regular basis to protect the ro,or will it be ok ,thanks for looking all help appreciated

I would run the system with some pure water then take out the RO membrane and wrap in cling film and store inside a black sack in a dark place as long as is doesn't dry out it should be fine - pre filters throw away and start with new when ready
