Sent one of the guys to clean this, here is the end result. The stains have all gone but he has been left with these watermarks after drying.

He used fabric shampoo, hand agitated in with soft brush over entire headboard and rinsed with fibre and fabric.

Any ideas if I can reverse this? Browning prescription perhaps???

If he cleaned the whole headboard then I'd suggest the  marks cannot have been made by what he has done, other wise they would be all over it.
But if the marks were pre-existing then it is unlikely that fibre shampoo would remove them given that they are probably hair oil marks, so what you could be looking at is the fact that the stains haven't been removed and now look worse because the surrounding fabric looks brighter.

The stains were black marks caused when they moved it out the removal Lorry so they definitely cleared up. Could it be previous spot cleaning marks being brought back to the surface?!

More than likely cotton or linen. I'd re-clean using chemspec cotton cleaner in the tank. Use a product as close to pH neutral as possible and i'd speed dry. Did one like this last Tuesday and it was dry when I left.

As I said, I don't think applying fibre shampoo was the correct chemical and I think there is a residue of the stain still present. Or, your guy only cleaned the stained areas which may be why they have the appearance of water marks.

Yip that's defiantly HWE work. Should rinse out quite easily I'd imagine
