Any one use Yell.com

I'm thinking of placing  ad on Yell.com on their online directory,maybe even get them to do me a website.
is anyone using them if so what is the response like?

Yeah I'm with them , £11.40 a month for my ad in my own town - vip listing-  the more towns you cover the more it costs. 12 month contract I think . after 12 months is up, I'm cancelling! crap response rate, but then again it's just been winter and I only signed up in September time 👍

It only takes that 1 phonecall to lamd the ultimate job.. For £12 a month id stay with it.

I blocked all there numbers as they just kept pestering me. I told them I would think about it in a months time. They never gave me a day never mind a month, just kept phoning and phoning. They did lower the prices but i was sick of them.

Don't  get much with yell,  but then out of the blue got a job which me and mate completed in a day and a half
£1100.00
So you never know

Oh and it was a free listing  that I put up about 10years ago

Be careful if you get a website through Yell.com - - it seems standard practice that they register the domain name for you, but not in your name - and if you ever decide to move your website away from them they charge an extortionate fee to release the domain that should already belong to you!  >:(

Just added four free listings, I doubt they will enter them all.
If your business covers three categories would you have to pay £11.50 for each one or only choose one to list.
