Is the weight of the 18 pole 760gm or 790gm? (Both weights are quoted in different tables)
Do they work in exactly the same way as an SLX in being fully extendable and clamped at any point?

It's a game of three halves!

18ft extreme Series 3 (new extreme, can be clamped anywhere) 760 grams bare pole.
18ft extreme Series 2 (older extreme, can be clamped top, middle and bottom) 790 grams bare pole.
Alex said the weight saving is around 5% so 40 odd grams. Weight saving will be the lack of metal bands on the extreme 3
The reason for the two tables is they list extreme poles (series 2) and the new extreme (series 3)
