Very impressed with it so far.

For anyone using the new gardiner hose it is a little tricky to get the o-clips on as the hose is thicker, but hot water and persistence wins the day.

I've also put an o-clip at the top of the pole just where my hose comes out of the gooseneck. As I use warm water this will stop the hose pulling in the brush connections and potentially popping off.

The uni-valve is very responsive, really small and light. Literally one inch or less of movement and it works just as good when the pole is extended.

REALLY impressed so far.

No , because when the pole is collapsed it would come out the bottom of the pole with the hose and be on the floor .

I know where your coming from 23, have it set just inside the base end when collapsed, that's where I was thinking of placing mine.

My question is why have a permanent o clip to the gooseneck? The biggest advantage of this over the aquatap and the aquadaptor is that it's inside the pole so it makes changing brush heads a doddle, if using a jg style fitting between the univalve and gooseneck

I said as near as possible down the bottom.

So the valve would still stay inside section one fully extended or collapsed.

Already seen one improvement I will be making already to the hose used.

If you had the valve down the bottom there would be the chance of it stretching away from the top.

Have mine coming next week no doubt so will have a play

See what you mean now 23 , don't see it making a huge difference , it weighs next to nothing but no harm in it either .

I have a jg fitting above where the o clip goes so can still change brush head .

its not the weight tho.

When collapsed it should make it more responsive.

I think it would be minimal , I tested it at 35 ft yesterday  and could feel no difference to when it was at ground level .

I use blue exceed hose , may be different if you use softer hose though .

With the aqua dapter, when at height some hoses stretched. I guess its the same with this.
It has to have a clip at the top so to hold the unit rigid

With the tubeless system exceed supplied  an oblong plastic pad that slipped over the hose
I've  fitted mine on hose by angle adapter
I think  it's better  than an o clip

To be honest I just  wanted to get it fitted.

I felt if I was to put it at the bottom of the first section there is more hose above to stretch? Making less responsive?

I'll be tweaking it in due course though I think.

I'm not 100% sure the o- clip is needed at the gooseneck, but it's solid with it on and not going to give me any problems.

Do you not know?

They call me the dancing window cleaner.

It's similar to the trademarked "Granville flounce" but every window is followed by *** jazz hands *** and a pose.
