HE WAS PROBABLY USING THE WRONG POLE HOSE!i think you need the tougher PU hose like aqua-daptor hose.
price higher/work harder!

well just got mine ive made a adjustment already .according to the instructions if ive read it corectlly  you crimp a o clip on hose to stop it moving at the at the top .how ever this crushes the hose  so what ive done is fit a john guest fitting to the t piece fitting on brush then hose to barbed end of john guest fitting thus not crushing hose. if that makes sence

also to avoid crushing hose using o clip and john guest fitting I found the sort of resineck used you have to extend the 2 clear feed pipes cause there to short as ive found out also the fittings on connector 2 sizes so ive got to go and get the smaller size  >:( >:(

Where as the hose split?  Where it comes out the brush?

I am very sure this can be simply addressed.

i have the blue hose that came with the conversion kit, i find it difficult to imagine the hose stretching while using the univalve, unless he`s split the hose putting the O clip on. i imagine there could be some stretch in the normal yellow pole hose as its more pliable

is it just a push fit into your pole hose or do you have to use other fittings and is it suitable for use with hot water?
I think it just sits in the pole and a hose clip at the top to stop it moving, when tugged

Yeah, fits in the top section area of your pole, although, I suppose you could put it anywhere in the section of your pole.
When ordering, you  choose what size o clips you require and they come in the packet with univalve.
Regarding the 3rd o clip you fasten on just out of the goosenecks. You crimp it just tight enough to grip and not crush the hose. Didn't need to use any extra things, just don't over do it  ;D

Can you fit these 'O' clips with an ordinary set of pliers? Or do you need to use special 'O' clip pliers?
