So i mainly do domestic bungalows/houses, however recently picked up a commercial job a ground floor office building.  Really wasn't sure how to quote and i know the owners are loaded so i just wacked the price up a little, thought it was going too take 2 hours to clean the office outside only.  I'm charging £50 and i did the second clean yesterday and it took 40 minutes dead.  Well impressed with that.  Are these the sort of amounts to expect per hour from commercial or did i overprice this job?  Usually i earn around £25-£30 per hour domestic, but would love to be earning more like £40 per hour too be honest!

Commercial could be the way forward for me haha!

I don't tend to charge any customers by the hour,  I charge a price and what time it takes is what it takes
Commercial, the same.
Only we have an idea how long the job is going  to take,  the customers haven't got a clue
Doing it this way you can earn great hourly rates on domestic  and sometimes depending on the job,  on commercial you can earn silly rates per hour
I don't do earnings  or hourly  rates on here,  it's not sensible at times
The job you've  just started  doing is not overpriced
If you're happy with the earnings it's  not underpriced either

Very true Granville, cash on the spot sounds much better.

I have 30 days payment terms, but I have to work for some right cocks that make me wait 90 days as that's there policy, it's a joke and puts you off taking the work on, you get the usual we will push it through for you but it never happens.
Company am doing a job for at the minute are 60 days, which I have to bite me lip at, but the work being offered is worth the wait.
