Sean

why dont you write a review on the two machines and post it on your site? That way if others have the same question as you they can find a answer somewhere else if they search -) you need to be fair in your review as thats what you expect yourself.  if people only have one place to go and ask those type of questions the conversation can be controlled you live in a great country that allows you to express your views.

A great way to do this is with a wordpress blog that other like your self can comment on. They are easy to set up. lets not forget google like reviews. so if someone is searching for a product a blog/page like that stands a good chance of being in the results.

whats really interesting about this kind of thing is that its prospects with the biggest objections that can become loyal customers if you can debate the objections. so if you dont answer these and win them over its can be a lost customer. I am sure that many on here have had the Portable TM talk with prospects and I bet it can go both ways depending on how its handled.

One big thing that I have always thought about this forum is it has a wall around it so google cant index this conversations. unlike other forums in this business that dont. now if this forum is run for the benefit of its owner then thats a massive mistake. and like this case people cant get a balanced view if they dont know this forum is around and that can be many new people coming into the business.  that why other forums control things like they do because they know new people will latch onto the first expert they find and if that expert has a vested interest then that benefits them both.

So..... WTF has all that crud got to do with Sean being banned from CT??

You don't half spout some narcissistic drivel at times Ian....  ::)roll ::)roll

You do sometimes have interesting things to say and dare I say it... even useful to carpet cleaners sometimes...  :o :o

Why would Sean want to do a review on 2 different machines on his website that is for customers?? What possible interest would they have on 2 different machines???

Anyhow I think that all those banned from the other channel are just trouble makers...  :P :P

 ;D ;D
Everyday this forum slips further from God.  :'(

This has nothing to do with machines!!!!
I only mentioned jag because I know some won't buy from him, so if they wanted a jag where would they get it?
Anyway I ain't interested any more, don't want to go on that site to read the dribble.
Some decent guys on there tho. but that's life.

Sean;

I can see your frustration, however, only trying to help by a few suggestions/possibilities in an effort to allow the benefit of the doubt before drawing any conclusions.

However, the very best to you and your success. :)

Thanks but I think things have gone too far now, if he had emailed me to say I have banned you I wouldn't be so annoyed about it (it's his site he can do anything he wants), like I said earlier show's the level of the bloke.

His forum his rules, move on.

Yes I've had log in problems before as well but I don't dwell on it as it becomes personal. With the emergence of social media and other forums there's enough to go on and you'll still see the same people.

Nick works on the tribe method of selling as talked about by Seth godin.

He wants followers that are passionate about his products and have the same philosophy as him .

If you as a non follower / conformist don't follow his or his followers mantra then you are not part of the tribe and are likely to be castigated from it when attacking the tribe and its leader .

I think that's how it works , and it's a great working method Apple does it to great affect .

I don't think so, are you not referring to Ashcombe Distributors?

Companies go bust for many reason sometimes a situation out of there control like they are owed a lot of money and that company goes bust so it brings them down.

But some companies go bust  as a way of not paying there debts a fresh start go bust on Friday start in the same building on Monday after buying the assets of the previous company.

Also some companies know they are going bust but continue trading and hide the assets away so that the creditors cant get to them.

I know of one business who  moved all the equipment and hid it and then the new company started using that equipment.

Whether this happened with suppliers  that have been discussed I don't know
