Has time stood still?
« on: February 04, 2016, 12:42:00 pm »
I retired from window cleaning about 2 years ago - nearly 70 and a shoulder injury made the decision for me.  I did WFP cleaning for around ten years and was quite active on this forum.

Being at a loose end, I thought I would just look in to see how things have progressed.  Quite funny really - all the same subjects and debates - best brush/worst brush, hot water/cold water, adding GG4 to the water etc etc.  Alex sells the best poles and brushes - I certainly thought so.

I must admit I do miss getting out with a pole and the exercise kept me in trim.

Anyway - best of luck to you all - keep scrubbing those windows :D

The only thing that's changed over the six years I've been on is that the people whose views I respect rarely post any more.

Good to hear from you John.
I think I remember you.
Did you show up at a W/C gathering at a pub near Maidstone some years ago?

I think maybe time has stood still ive been in this game for 10 years now and on this forum for the same, the subjects are the same pretty much & yes Alex is the best supplier imo too. But i dont post much either but i do read through about once a month or so.
